I honestly believe that my Christmas will be a lot more colorful with makeup. Hahaha 😀
I received and bought quite a number of face paint just this month and I’m pretty happy with them! So far, I’ve used them for special events and for my two aunties for a wedding they have to attend to. If I may say, I think I did a good job! haha 😀 Will try to post their pictures if I get the opportunity. 🙂
Anyhoo… going back to my treasures!
I might do a review on each one of these soon. I have to use them for a period of time before I can fully comment on them. 🙂 For the mean time, here’s my general comments about each of these. 😀
1. Monistat: Chafing Relief Powder-Gel
Okay! I know! This chafing gel manufactured by Monistat is not a foundation primer for the face. Read the description from its box below to understand what it’s real use is. 😀
Price: P500
I bought this because of many makeup reviews on YouTube. I was looking for the “best primer” and somehow, this chafing gel pops up on the search results. I did more research about it and saw this one video wherein a girl was reviewing a bunch of other high end foundation primers together with this chafing relief gel.
She said that these high end foundation primers used the same main ingredient as Monistat has on its chafing gel, which was Dimethicone. What a revelation. ahaha Watch the YouTube foundation primers video and see for yourself.
I used this just last Friday and Saturday. It was fantastic! It felt so smooth on the face as if it was velvet. XD I was easily able to apply my foundation and it doesn’t make it cakey. 😀 I like! ahaha 😀
If you want to buy one too, go to Sulit.com.ph. I bought mine from the seller of the link. 🙂
2. MAC: Satin Lipstick in Pink Nouveau
I’ve been looking for a nice Barbie-pink shade that would look good on me. Like all my other makeup, I did some research first and ended up with MAC’s Pink Nouveau. MAC at Glorietta ran out of testers so I bought it without trying the product first! Risky!! XD So after paying for it, I then let the MAC Lady put some on me. Tanaaaaan!! Good thing it was OK! 😀
3. Smashbox: Eye Lights Eye Shadow Palette – Smokebox
This was a birthday present given to me by my family just last November. 😀 This palette is super pigmented, which I like! 😀 I this was specifically made for creating smokey eye looks. 🙂
Check this out at any Beauty Bar Branch. 🙂

4. Etude House: Eyebrow Kit
My eyebrows are soooo think. I’ve been relying on eyeshadow to fill in the gaps in my eyebrows and to make it more thicker. The right side is the wax and the left one is the powder. 🙂
5. Urban Decay: Eye Shadow Primer (Professional Size)
Too bad there aren’t any Urban Decay stores here in the Philippines. One can only settle with online shopping websites such as Ebay, Sulit, and Multiply to get a bottle/tube of this.
Good thing my dad went to the states last month! I requested for him to buy one of these in the biggest size, which is this Professional size, so I have a lot to work with. 🙂
This is a cult favorite, tried-and-tested eye shadow primer. 🙂
Price: $30
6. Christian Dior: Diorshow Iconic Waterproof Mascara
Honestly, this is the thing I’m most excited about! 😀 This is another cult favorite among makeup gurus/addicts. I read a lot of reviews about this and I’m hoping to experience the great effects of this, too!
I used Iconic on a friend, Regine, who has naturally curly eyelashes and it worked great on her! I, on the other hand, have stick straight lashes. Good luck to me! 😀
I’ve never been this excited with makeup before. Haha! 🙂 Very happy Christmas for me! 😀
I’m planning on enrolling in a makeup school soon. Problem is, I haven’t picked a school yet. Do you have any good suggestions? 😀 I’m choosing between Maquillage Professionnel and Make-up Designory Manila (MUD). 🙂 Thanks! 😀
Love,
Kist
