24 Seems Like a Nice Number

Turning 24 in that beautiful island, Coron, was a blessing! It’s a great way to start a new year in my life. 🙂

I’m grateful to have celebrated my 24th birthday at Coron with Andrew. 🙂 We stayed at Casa Fidelis, a homey and peaceful resort owned by a friend from UPLB. It was a 3D 2N stay with them and their package included trips and tours to different spots in Coron as well as three meals per day. That part was where Drew and I were very impressed. You’ll see why later! 🙂 Oh and only if you could taste it!

Lot’s of things happened that day and it’ll be difficult for me to share every detail of the trip but I will upload lots of photos and let them do the talking. I’ll just put captions on the photos so you’d get the flow of how my day went. 🙂 Oh yeah! If you see black borders on the photos, that’s the camera’s underwater case. haha 😀

The room they gave us was actually for 6 people. But we didn’t mind because we had a lot of space!! 😀

After dropping our things at the room and changing to our swimming attire, we had lunch! 😀

For lunch, we had this Samaral fried fish! very Yummy!

After lunch, we started our tour!! We drove to the dock where we’d ride a boat to go to Barracuda Lake, Kayangan Lake, Siete Picados, and Maquinit Hotsprings.

Barracuda Lake

Maquinit Hot Spring

Our last stop for the day is at the Maquinit Hot Springs. It’s like the hot springs of Los Baños, the legit ones, okay? ;D

Dinner!! Food always excites me! ^_^

For dinner, we had fried chicken, adobong crabs, and samaral fish again. 😀

Beats FKC anyday!

YUMMY SAMARAL FISH!

First day at Coron was so far, great great great!! 😀 Two things happened to me that day that tried to dampen my spirit but I wouldn’t allow it! It’s my birthday PLUS I’m in Coron with Drew!! 😀 So yeah, more positive things happened than the negative ones so I got through it! 😀

Next post would be about our second day at Coron, which is also Drew and I’s 3rd Anniversary! yahoo! Stay tuned! 😀
