“On Our Way to the Isle” Day 2: Chilling with the Tantuan Family

Leyte Day 2: Just Chilling at his home

Drew and I still had one more day in Isabel. The wedding will be held the next day so we just chilled! ^_^

I woke up at around 7:30 AM and had a good breakfast and then the morning went by.

Drew cooked yummy pork steak for lunch.

We went to Ormoc together with his dad, mom, and sister, Denise. They needed to buy Denise a pink top for Ate Kara’s wedding. We went to the new Gaisano mall located near the bay, which they called Riverside (I think). XD

We found a pink sleeveless top for Denise with ensembles on the neckline.

We had some snacks and left after.

This halo-halo had camote in it, which we did not expect at all. It lacked sweetness so we kept adding and adding sugar. XD It was good, nonetheless.

4:30 PM

Drew drove us home. The clouds were very dark as we were approaching Isabel and it soon rained. After an hour of driving, we got back to their house. 🙂

I couldn’t find anything to do so I just took more photos of our time left in Isabel! XD

I even took photos of some photos inside their house. I like this one (below) in particular. 🙂

After dinner, I decided to go with Drew and meet up with his batch mates from work. They’re called MTP Batch 3. We’re missing a few more certified chemical engineers here but I’m already overwhelmed. Haha. 🙂

We have here 6 chemical engineers and 1 mechanical engineer!

After drinking 2 bottles of Pale Pilsen beer, we left. Drew’s family and I will leave for Hilongos (where the wedding will be held) at dawn.

Love,

Kist

  1. Thanks for posting about your experiences in Leyte. My daughter an I will need to go to Isabel after Xmas. But we have no idea how to get there from Manila. Can you give us some pointers, clues, general directions. Please send your reply to madfedaykin@yahoo.com. I would appreciate it. Thanks!
